These Terms govern your use of getbackphysiotherapy.com (the “Website”), operated by Get Back Physiotherapy Inc. By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Website content is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and is not a substitute for an assessment by a qualified health professional. Browsing the Website, sending a message or requesting an appointment does not by itself create a therapist-patient relationship. A clinical relationship begins only when the Clinic accepts you as a patient and a regulated professional undertakes to provide services with appropriate consent.
Do not use the Website for emergencies. Call 911 or seek urgent care. Never delay seeking professional advice because of something on the Website.
Appointment requests are not confirmed until accepted by the Clinic. Services are subject to practitioner availability, clinical suitability and required consent. For minors, consent will be obtained from the capable minor or an authorized substitute decision-maker, as required by law.
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged as follows:
If you arrive late, your appointment may be shortened and the full appointment fee will still apply. The Clinic may waive or adjust a fee in exceptional circumstances at its discretion.
Payments are processed at the Clinic or through Jane App; the Website does not sell services or products directly. Fees, services, practitioners, hours and availability may change without prior notice.
Direct billing to private insurers, WSIB or motor-vehicle insurers is offered as a convenience when available. We cannot guarantee coverage, approval, processing time or payment by a third party. You are responsible for checking your coverage and paying any amount not paid by the insurer or other payer.
Pessaries, orthotics, compression garments, braces and other clinical supplies, including custom-made products, are final sale and non-returnable, subject to any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Ask about fit, use, price and warranty before purchase.
When appropriate, virtual care may be provided through Jane App. Telehealth has limitations, including technology failures, reduced ability to perform a physical examination and possible privacy risks. You are responsible for using a suitable device, secure connection and private location. We may recommend in-person or emergency care when virtual care is not appropriate.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. The Website may link to or use third-party services such as Jane App, Google Maps and WhatsApp. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Use them at your own discretion and review their terms and policies.
The Website and its text, graphics, logos, branding and other content are owned by or licensed to Get Back Physiotherapy Inc. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, modify, distribute or commercially use it without our written permission.
We try to keep Website information accurate and the Website available, but we do not guarantee that content is complete, current or error-free, or that access will be uninterrupted or secure. Treatment responses vary, and no particular clinical result or outcome is guaranteed. Nothing in these Terms limits the professional or legal duties of the Clinic or its regulated health professionals.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Get Back Physiotherapy Inc. is not liable for losses arising solely from reliance on general Website content, inability to access the Website, or third-party websites or services. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded and does not limit responsibility for clinical services or professional obligations.
We may update the Website and these Terms at any time. The current Terms will be posted with their effective date. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
